The opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Director of Product Marketing to join our growing team and own the product marketing function at Vertesia. This is a highly visible, strategic, and hands-on role that sits at the center of our go-to-market engine. You will shape how we tell our story, how the market understands our platform, and how our sales team wins.

Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will serve as the market intelligence hub of the company by deeply understanding our buyers, competitors, and analysts; and transforming that knowledge into compelling messaging, impactful product launches, powerful sales tools, and a strong industry presence.

This role is ideal for a product marketer who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and wants to help define a new category of software.

Key responsibilities

Product messaging & positioning
  • Define and own Vertesia's product positioning, messaging frameworks, and value propositions for each buyer persona and market segment
  • Translate complex AI and document management capabilities into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with enterprise decision-makers and technical buyers alike
  • Ensure consistency of messaging across all channels: website, sales collateral, campaigns, analyst briefings, and executive communications
  • Partner closely with the Product team to deeply understand the platform roadmap and align messaging with product evolution
Product release communications
  • Lead go-to-market (GTM) strategy and execution for all product launches and feature releases, from early planning through public announcement and post-launch follow-through
  • Develop and execute integrated launch plans that coordinate across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success
  • Produce launch assets including release notes, launch blog posts, customer announcements, and internal enablement materials
  • Build a repeatable product launch playbook for Vertesia's growing release cadence
Market & competitive intelligence
  • Conduct ongoing primary and secondary market research to identify trends, buyer needs, competitive dynamics, and emerging opportunities in the enterprise AI, context and document management space
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive competitive intelligence program, including battle cards, win/loss analysis, and regular competitive landscape updates
  • Synthesize market insights into strategic recommendations for Product, Sales, and leadership teams
  • Monitor and track competitor activities, messaging, and product updates on a continuous basis
Sales enablement
  • Develop and deliver high-impact sales enablement programs, tools, and training that empower the sales team to articulate Vertesia's differentiated value and win competitive deals
  • Create a robust library of sales assets including pitch decks, one-pagers, solution guides, battlecards, case studies, ROI calculators, and demo narratives
  • Partner with Sales leadership to understand buyer objections, pipeline trends, and field feedback, and translate those insights into sharper messaging and better enablement
  • Build and maintain persona-based buying journey content to support the full sales cycle
Analyst relations
  • Own Vertesia's analyst relations program, building and managing relationships with key industry analysts at Gartner, Forrester, IDC, and other research firms
  • Coordinate and lead analyst briefings, inquiries, and research submissions, ensuring Vertesia is properly represented and positioned in market reports
  • Monitor analyst coverage and published research; synthesize insights for internal strategy and identify opportunities to improve Vertesia's analyst positioning and recognition
  • Leverage analyst relationships to validate product strategy, inform messaging, and generate third-party credibility for the sales process
Thought leadership
  • Represent Vertesia as a subject matter expert and brand ambassador at industry conferences, webinars, and customer events
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations that showcase Vertesia's vision, differentiation, and customer impact
  • Partner with the Marketing team to produce thought leadership content including blog posts, whitepapers, webinar series, and contributed articles
  • Support executive speakers with messaging frameworks, talking points, and presentation materials
