Role overview:
As a 100% remote SDR, you will play a critical role in our sales and marketing processes, serving as the first point of contact for prospects. Your primary responsibility will be to engage potential customers, understand their needs, and book meetings for our sales team. Key responsibilities:
Lead generation and prospecting:
- Research and identify potential customers through various channels, including online research, social media, and inbound leads.
- Leverage tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, and HubSpot to build targeted outreach campaigns.
Lead engagement:
- Initiate contact with marketing generated leads via email, phone, and social media to introduce Vertesia.
- Book discovery calls for the Account Executives to further explore the prospect’s challenges and determine their fit for our platform.
Lead management:
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions and activities in the CRM system.
- Work closely with the marketing team to provide feedback on campaign effectiveness, messaging and lead quality.
- Continuously refine outreach strategies to improve conversion rates and prospect engagement.
Collaboration:
- Partner with the sales and marketing teams to align on account strategies and messaging.
- Participate in regular team meetings to share insights, track progress, and contribute to overall strategy.
Qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related role, preferably in the SaaS or technology industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
- A basic understanding of GenAI technologies is a plus, but not required—training will be provided.
